So I convinced Brooke that we should rent Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. I heard it was much better than the first one. The first one wasn't bad, it just wasn't.... great. (I bet you were all thinking I was going to say fantastic. That kind of description is reserved for Doctor Who) So we watch the second one tonight and..... meh. I actually preferred the first one. And I don't really prefer the first one. Such a disappointment.
Still, on the plus side, both Fantastic 4 movies were still light years better than Superman 4: The Quest for Peace. That movie was just painful to watch.
Good thing we rented Transformers too. I at least know that one is good cause I saw it with my buddy Zach when it came out.
Brooke wants to make up for renting the Fantastic flop by renting the 3rd Pirates movie. If it's anything like the 2nd one...... I guess I'm in for a good long nap.

Tim is obsessed with Transformers right now. He just bought the deluxe DVD from Target, where the DVD container transforms into a big Optimus Prime. Haha!
We just bought Transformers too! And from Target too, since John works there, but I don't think our DVD transforms... :/ I didn't trust Fantastic 4 the sequel from the beginning. Pirates 3 we thought was great, but has a lot of plot thrown into a little space of time, leaving lots confused. Don't sleep. Or do, and just miss the whole thing.
Ah, Dr. Who... Hearing the theme song brings back memories of my childhood when my dad watched all kinds of crazy things on PBS...
Transformers was a boy movie. They make fun of our chick flicks, but that was such a boy movie. Let's see, stuff blows up, robots fight, there is a car chase scene, and a girl who's midriff shows the whole movie...
