Question and answer

Thanks to everyone for their comments on my health care nightmare. I appreciate all those who say they will think of me or pray for me. There were a lot of questions asked. I will try my best to answer them.

First about the seizures. I have had one other episode (their word, not mine). It was almost exactly five years ago. I think in my gut that they are related to my blood sugar levels but depending on the doctor, I am having a hard time convincing them of it. My neurologist seems to think it is impossible, though the neurologist I had five years ago didn't seem to think it was that radical. My primary care physician seems to think it is possible to the point that he gave me a blood sugar tester. Now if only I could get up the courage to stab myself.

As for the cyst. They actually think it is the same cyst that I had in November and they are worried about it because it is abnormally shaped. They also want to go in and see if I have endometriosis. My primary care physician ordered the CT scans to make sure we weren't missing anything, especially since I hurt on the left and the cyst is on the right.

So I hope that answers all the questions. If not, post them here. :)

Yikes, Brooke! When is your surgery going to be? I'm so sorry that you are going through all of this! Let me know if I can help in any way. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

Seizures are sometimes possible and related to blood-sugar levels...especially if you are diabetic.
