News

I have thought and thought about how to do this. I just couldn't really come up with anything. I have never been good at these types of things. When I got engaged, I think I only told my family, and let everybody else figure it out when they saw my engagement ring. But since most of you don't see me on a regular basis, I am not sure how you could figure this one out. So, I will provide the visuals. Besides, I am starting to get that look- "have you put on a lot of weight or...?"

Jake always says he can't make anything
out on these things. So, I will help.
Head to the right.

This one didn't scan as well.
Head to left, can see eyes and mouth.
Little feet are kicking forward.

Is it a bad sign when at 12 weeks, the doctor says,
"Oh, it is good to have active babies."?
The problem: they turn into active toddlers!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! What exciting news!! So 12 weeks along, then you're due... December sometime? Oh, and I thought the same thing when this baby was so active during my ultrasound--"Great, ANOTHER active little boy!"

Oh Brooke that is great news! You are right, there is no good way to just bring up the subject with people. How can you just blurt out, I'm pregnant?! Congratulations. How have you been feeling?

Hahaha... no, not 2 babies. Those photos were taken about a month apart. See, when you are not having BYU take your constitutional rights away and being forced to buy BYU-run medical insurance (meaning, you're no longer a student and have a real job with real insurance), the doctors can actually give you the number of ultrasounds they think is best for you and not the number BYU insurance policy makers who know nothing about you or your medical situation want you to have. At least that's the way I look at it. ;)

Congrats!

I agree with Jake. I really have to look close at those ultrasound pictures and have somebody point stuff out with arrows:)

I hope your pregnancy goes nice and smooth for you.

What fun news!! A big congrats to you! My best wishes for a healthy pregnancy that will produce a healthy and mellow baby (in spite of excess activity in the womb).

Brooke is hoping for a girl. I'm happy either way. James wants a sister and wants to name her Molly after the train on Thomas the Tank Engine.
