Just wanted to make sure everybody knows we are still alive and kicking. We will have a real post sometime next week because James' birthday is next Saturday. I can't believe he will be three!
Some stuff that has been rolling around in my head:
Why does it not matter how many things I do in a day, there are always a million more? I think I am drowning in chores!!!
I do not know how to pick a preschool for James. Or maybe I am too late and they are all already full for fall, even though it is only March! Then I think maybe I shouldn't put him in yet since he will only be three... I just don't know.
We started renting ALIAS from Netflix. I am totally addicted to this show! I almost dont know what to do with myself when we are between discs. (We are currently between discs, HELP!)
I just finished reading Catching Fire, the second book to the Hunger Games. I really enjoyed both books, but I don't want to wait until Fall for the next one. I am also wondering if she will take the easy way out with the "love triangle."
I have not been writing as much as I should... could have something to do with my addiction to ALIAS. I am also doubting my abilities as a writer again.

We got addicted to "The Office" and watched all five seasons on DVD in three weeks. And I wouldn't stress too much about preschool. My thought is that they're only three years old, so it's not like you're pushing calculus on them. I put Abby in so that she'd get better socially and that's my only purpose of preschool this year. Hope you find something you like.
I've already pre-ordered Mockingjay. I'm interested to see what she does with the love triangle thing myself. Seems like love triangles are real in nowadays.
I just finished Catching Fire, too! This series is so good! I am so impatient to get the third book.
We put Jack in an at-home preschool co-op with some friends in our ward this year (he turned 4 this school year). If you can find a good group of girls, I recommend it! It's been a great mix of a real school experience without being too much for a little 3-year-old.
Apparently you answered your own question on what to do between Alias dics. The answer is: write something on your blog.
Anyway, no worries on preschool. We waited too long (much later then March) so Ev just didn't do the school thing when he was 3. I wasn't too distraught, but I consoled myself by figuring it was ok if he missed a year of un-required school since he'd be doing school for many more years in the future. And besides saving us a year's worth of preschool money, I realized that my true motivation for putting him in preschool was only for a social aspect anyway. So we concentrated on finding playgroups and playdates instead. It got slower after summer, but it was nice in that it gave both mom and kid a break from each other.
But just do what works for you. Just ask some moms that you trust and pick one. If he hates it he doesn't have to go to the same one next year.
